The LT35 Hydraulic portable sawmill is an entry-level hydraulic mill designed to reduce manual labor and increase productivity with complete hydraulic log handling and electronic head control. The sawmill is completely portable and ready for road travel with a standard single axle trailer and electric brakes. Six adjustable outriggers allow for quick set-up and simple rough leveling of the bed prior to sawing. The patented open side of the LT35HD sawhead allows for minimal leveling during set-up, easy off-bearing with the trapezoid shaped bed, and sawing of odd shaped logs. All log handling functions are hydraulically driven and controlled from a centralized station at the front of the sawmill.
Loaded and turned hydraulically with loading arms and a steel claw turner, logs are secured onto the bed by four side supports (two hydraulically controlled) and a heavy-duty hydraulic log clamp. Two hydraulic roller toeboards assist with precise leveling of the log on the bed for tapered logs. SimpleSet Setworks and powered head controls position the saw head height to prepare for sawing. With SimpleSet, sawyers can program two exact board thicknesses and SimpleSet will automatically move the head into position for the next cut to produce timber more quickly and accurately. Once the blade is engaged with a handle, the saw head advances through the log with the power feed control that includes variable speed for optimal sawing control. A water tank feeds lubrication directly to the blade to improve cutting performance and keep the blade clean. An optional debarker helps extend blade life between sharpenings by clearing a 6mm wide path in front of the sawmill blade’s cut entry. The adjustable blade guide arm keeps the blade well supported while cutting various sized material. Blade tension is easily adjusted, and keeps the blade at the proper tension for cutting.
Saw softwood and hardwood logs up to 32” in diameter with a 26” width of cut and a 10-½” depth of cut – more than enough capacity for most logs you'll come across.
Reliable Gas or Diesel Power
Powerful and dependable 25HP gas and 24HP diesel engines with electric start are available to fit your needs.
Powered Saw Head Controls with Setworks
Quickly and accurately move the saw head up/down and forward/reverse for sawing with the easy-to-use powered saw head controls. Plus, the simple setworks allow two pre-set board thicknesses to automatically control blade height while referencing from the previous cut for increased efficiency and performance.
Complete Hydraulic Log Handling
From a centralized control panel, control all hydraulic log handling functions including log loading arms, two side supports, log turner, log clamp, and log leveling toeboards.
Load Logs with Hydraulic Loading Arms
Lift heavy logs onto the bed with ease using the hydraulic loading arms.
Rotate Logs with Hydraulic Log Turner
Rotating a log or cant for the next cut is easy with the hydraulic steel log turner.
Stabilize Logs with Side Supports
Four strong steel side supports - two hydraulically controlled with heavy-duty rollers to assist with turning logs - are adjustable up/down to stabilize logs on the bed during loading, turning, clamping, and sawing. An additional built-in bed side support allows for final cuts within 1” of the bed.
Precision Sawing with Thin-Kerf Sawmill Blades
The LT35 Hydraulic sawmill uses 158” length sawmill blades. With the ability to saw as precise as 1/16” with the thin-kerf sawmill blade, you get the most usable lumber out of every log.
High-Performance Sawing with Blade Guide Rollers
High-performance blade guide rollers and an adjustable blade guide arm provide extra support and stability for sawmill blades to saw accurately and consistently.
Optional Debarker
Mud, rocks, bark, and other sawmill blade dulling debris is no longer a problem with an optional debarker. Powered by a ¾ HP motor, the debarker protects sawmill blades from damage by clearing a ¼” wide path in front of where the sawmill blade enters the cut. With a debarker, you will save money by extending your sawmill blade life and you will also save time previously spent on prewashing logs and changing blades more often from sawing into debris
Easy Blade Changes with Two-Piece Sawhead
Sawmill blade changes are easy with the two-piece saw head cover that is secured by two inside fasteners. To change a sawmill blade, simply release the blade tension, replace the blade, and tension the blade with the simple screw indicator without having to remove any extra parts.
Road-Ready Trailer with Simple Setup
The LT35 Hydraulic is completely portable and ready for road travel with a standard single axle trailer and electric brakes. Six adjustable outriggers allow for quick set-up and simple leveling of the bed to prepare for sawing.
